Privacy Policy
Sound Atelier Key (“SAK”) handles your personal information as follows.
This English page is a translation for reference. If there is any difference, the Japanese version prevails.
1. Information we collect
- Your name (a nickname is fine)
- Contact details, such as your email address or Instagram username
- The person you are giving to, the date, the occasion, and what you write
- Memories and stories we ask about for production, and photos you share
- Delivery address, name and phone number (for the “Give by hand” plan)
Card information is handled directly by our payment service, Stripe. SAK never receives your card number.
2. How we use it
- To contact you about your application and respond to your questions
- To create and deliver songs, lyrics, playback pages and gifts
- To send payment details
- For aggregate analysis to improve our service, without identifying individuals
3. Sharing with third parties
We do not share your information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
However, we may entrust handling to the following external services and providers, only as needed for the purposes above:
- Form and email services
- Our payment service, Stripe
- Delivery companies
- Tools and services used in production, including AI tools
- Staff responsible for production
4. Information about the person receiving the gift
Information and stories you share about the recipient are used only to create their song.
5. Publishing feedback or works
If we would like to feature your feedback or work on our site or social media, we will confirm the content and scope in advance and publish only what you agree to.
6. Analytics
To improve our site, we use analytics tools such as Microsoft Clarity, Google Analytics and Metricool. These may record how you interact with pages, but what you type into forms is excluded.

7. Storage and deletion
- Information from applications that did not lead to an order is deleted after 6 months have passed from receipt.
- Information from customers who ordered, including interview notes, photos and contact records, is deleted after 2 years have passed from completion of the transaction.
- Content placed on a dedicated playback page, such as the song, lyrics and photos, is kept while that page is published.
If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so promptly, except where the law requires us to keep it.
